SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY - SIRP are devoted to giving our members the best advice when it comes to safety. We maintain close links with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Amusement Device Safety Council (ADSC) and all other major associations within our industry. SIRP have access to the latest guidance and regulations, allowing our members to make informed decisions about safety. Members receive regular updates throughout the year as well as the opportunity for discussion and reports from officers at our AGM, of which we hold two per year.
SIRP are proud to support The Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS). ADIPS is the fairground and amusement park industry’s own adopted standard for inspection and certification of fairground rides and amusement devices.
All equipment operated by SIRP members is required to be tested annually under the ADIPS Scheme, as well as being fully insured.
Any non SIRP qualifying equipment operated by a SIRP member must also be tested annually under the ADIPS Scheme and any inflatables must be PIPA tested.
